Public Notice

Pending permits to be issued by the City of Denton, the Denton County Courthouse will be undergoing a remodel beginning in late March or early April. Different areas of the County Clerk’s Office will be affected at different times; phase one will begin with Mental Health and the Law Library and it is anticipated to take ninety days to complete. In an effort to continue service the Mental Health clerks will be temporarily relocated to suite 2441. The Mental Health’ Court will proceed with their regular schedule outside of this relocation. The Law Library will be closed for a large portion of the remodel and the print media collection in storage. Librarians will be available to assist with online searches in suite 2442. There will be no access to the print media during this time. This temporary inconvenience of the remodel will result in a higher quality of service for the citizens of Denton County our law library patrons.
